Brian Paccione holds a BA in both film and biology from Vassar College as well as an MFA from the Columbia University Graduate Film program where he was the recipient of the Ezra Litwak Award for Distinction in Screenwriting. In addition to writing and directing his own work, Brian mentored at-risk youths in NYC by teaching them how to make short documentaries about pressing social issues in their neighborhoods through The MyBlock Education Program. He teaches film production at SUNY Purchase College and Brooklyn College. He is a nature enthusiast and an avid collector of folk, self-taught, and Indigenous art.
